Harkwood Services Ltd was founded in 2011 by Jeremy Curtis offering independent AV and IT consultancy, and since 2014 custom microcomputer hardware and software design services.
Jeremy has built Harkwood Services on over 30 years experience working with a variety of technologies, installing facilities into single rooms, campus wide, regional, and at a national level. Solutions have ranged from education open access facilities to the most secure government systems and services, on a range sites from new build developments, refurbishments, and relocations.

As a truly independent consultancy the primary focus is on how a system will be used, as it is only when this is fully understood can technologies be looked at. Technology should never steer the requirement of the client.

Working on some tricky projects has led to the development of bespoke electronic hardware and software to solve issues when there was no off the shelf solution available. Since 2014 a number of these solutions have been further developed into products themselves, that are sold worldwide.
