The solution installed into The Quadram Institute has won the 2019 InAVation Award for healthcare, up against stiff competition from projects in the UK, Russia, and the USA. The AV integrator selected for the project, Snelling Business Systems, picked up the award at the InAVation Awards ceremony in Amsterdam during the ISE 2019 show. The specified solution is based on the ZeeVee Zyper4K SDVoE solution, which enables it to be very flexible and extensible.
Assisting The Quadram Institute in Norwich with the OJEU tender process for a new AV system in their new £multi-million state-of-the-art food and health research centre. The AV system includes multi-join seminar spaces and meeting rooms. It also enables live links to endoscopy treatment rooms with bi-directional audio and video for medical teaching purposes.
Deploying a mix of traditional core video switching technologies and converged AV over IP (AVoIP) solutions creates a powerful and easily extensible solution for teaching medical procedures within the hospital.
The centre is due to open in mid-2018.
